About the Language :
Sanskrit is an ancient Indo-Aryan language, and the Vedas, which are written in Vedic Sanskrit, are its most ancient transcripts. It arose in South Asia as a result of the middle Ages expansion of its forefather languages from the north and west. It is the most ancient Indo-European language with substantial written documentation.
History of the Language :
Sanskrit, which dates back thousands of years, is one of the world's oldest known languages. It is thought that they descended from the Indo-European language family of the Indian subcontinent. Vedic Sanskrit was the earliest form of the Sanskrit language, dating from approximately 1500-200 B.C. when "knowledge" was passed down orally through the generations. During this time, hymns, poems, and Puranas were written, some of which became Hindu sacred scripts.
